KDE发布了下一代Plasma Workspace的首个beta版。Plasma Next是基于Qt5和KDE Frameworks 5，提供了现有KDE用户熟悉的桌面体验。根据发布计划，开发者计划在6月10日发布Beta2，7月8日发布RC版，7月15日发布正式版。Plasma Next的beta1 还不稳定，用户可选择下载 live OS体验测试一下。
